Think Like A Film Editor
              November 6, 2025

Instructions:

In this task we were tasked to edit a sequence for a new thriller. Through a storyboard we were to include 25 sequential shots.

Shots must include:

  • An abandonded building

  • A corridor in the building

  • A victim in the building

  • A person making a phone call

  • The police recieving and answering a call in a control room

  • A close-up of a hand opening a door

  • A criminal fleeing from the scene of a crime

  • A speeding police car

  • A police officer searching an abandoned building

  • A dark stair well

Be sure your scenes show continuity and make sense together. Build suspense and think about how each scene would make the audience feel.
