 Before You Start
 January 23,2026

Instructions:

  • This part of the task was a quick reflections and a way to comprehend what you already know about narratives.

Here, we were to again discuss with a partner the following questions:

1.What do you understand about the term 'narrative'?

2.Why do you think narratives are important?

3.Do you think narratives can influence how audiences think about people, places and the world around them?

My Response:

1. I understand that a narrative is either spoken or written account of a story.

2.Narratives are important because they help readers properly make sense of and interpret events taking place. It often acts as a bride in stories with a need or connections between scenes.

3.Absolutely, according to how the narrative comes across, readers/viewers are left to form their own opinions on every production aspect.
